Presentation

What is the world all around these days? What exactly is it that meets the eye and influences your actions like a magician? What is it that has taken over our very real side of things?

It’s the subject sited above.

Well, there are several ways of looking at it. One being a boon, another being a babe. How, you might ask.. I would say, better think about it.

I had never encountered this “Art” as closely as being myself a part of the circus. Indeed, the much this very thing makes the difference is that of day and night. What exactly meets the eye, is the one that’s sold the earliest.

We live in a world so colossal that it adheres to what is being presented in the front, away from what actually lies right behind. The irony is that, we even tend to spend lifetimes that way and rarely realise.

Take sales for an instance. There are academic degrees targetted at preparing people to be presentable. And when they get to the ground, all of them are presentable enough to look the best, sound the most pleasant of the lot and appear most promising to fetch the customers. At one place, where the same thing is being sold, it’s the trust that differs and cashes into business and profits at the end of the day..

And we give away the Oscars to the Professional Actors from across the world, forgetting these talented men and women who play a real life character by being presentable and loot the hearts of the customers.
It’s astonishing how a person could be presentable and sound promising, at the same time, selling their not-so-perfect goods to total strangers! I mean, if you see, you can picture trust as a toy being used to lure a small child to behave accordingly.. And all that is guided by the Presentation of things being followed..

You go to an interview, with all the interviewees coming from the same academical background, having similar achievements and assets. But what matters, is “the way” those attributes are brought to the table. That’s exactly what acts for a moment of truth to decide your fate!

‘Cause we live in a world where people have forgotten words like patience, calm, pious, etc. Nobody is patient enough to have a good look at the good bits and values of a person’s personality. Nobody is calm enough to treat the person the way they are meant to be and give them a chance to prove themselves as per their own unique vibe.. Nobody values the importance of Pauses in the fast running world, where even the lightest of the details could reveal the entire game.

And that’s exactly that is taken advantage of. This very lack is what the people take advantage of, imposing their presentable ways to gain the trust and hence, have the ball in their court.

And somewhere, it’s important as well. It’s because, you’ve got to survive in a hell lot crowded world. So, in order to do so, you present the best version of yourself, be it faux.

Amidst all of the calculative part, never forget the real you. It’s fairly possible to forget one’s real entity. That real entity is the one that actually forms the backbone of the presentation. Without the real self, it’s impossible for a person to gather that one vital ingredient in the making of that exquisite actor; “Confidence”, or to give a small definition, “Belief in the self”.
